Bihar introduces AI tutors in rural government schools

The Bihar Education Department has launched an AI-powered digital tutor system in 200 government schools located in rural areas. These tutors help students with math, science, and English through speech and interactive modules, even in dialects like Bhojpuri and Maithili. The platform adjusts questions based on student performance and encourages self-paced learning. Teachers report improved attendance and curiosity among students. The government plans to scale it to 1000+ schools by early 2026.
